    Camping Card International (CCI) is a service that offers campers an easy and economical way of travelling and camping throughout Europe, providing discounts, and eliminating the need to keep multiple registrations at different camping sites.

  • the challenge

    CCI felt the need to revitalise its platform, making it more appealing to young and adult audiences and with more convenient features to increase take-up of the service. The transition to digital cards was also necessary.

    We ensured the development of a fully customised portal, respecting the complex business model, with a contemporary design and maintaining all the initial functionalities and data.

The new platform has 7 languages and 3 reserved areas: customer area, partners and clubs, the latter with 3 membership plans.

Business models were optimised by extending the partner network to categories complementary to camping and introducing subscription plans via the PayPal system.

 

We have integrated features such as automatic notifications (with alerts when the CCard's expiry date is approaching), Google Maps, geolocalisation and Sendinblue for email marketing purposes.

The platform also includes a news section and a page with all the benefits and discounts, as well as other suggestions of interest to campers.

The transition to digital cards was one of the most impactful changes, simplifying processes and reducing the costs associated with producing and sending physical cards. This transition has had a positive impact on customer convenience and sustainability.
