Food Solutions – How to transform Sogenave's digital presence with a B2B product sales portal

    Sogenave is one of Portugal's leading distributors of food and non-food products, serving various markets, from healthcare to hypermarkets, education and catering industry.

    As a leader in the distribution sector, Sogenave was looking to digitise its services through an efficient B2B platform for its customers, allowing for a more fluid and agile ordering process, and reducing physical dependence on sales staff.

    Through a B2B sales portal, the purchasing experience is simplified and integrated into Sogenave's internal systems, such as SAP.

The new portal was developed using Umbraco platform with a personalised front-end. The solution's integration with web services and direct connection to SAP enable autonomous and integrated order management. Orders placed through the portal are automatically reflected in the company's internal systems.

Each customer has access to a reserved and personalised area on the platform. The navigation - designed with a focus on the mobile experience - allows the entire catalogue, price list, product stock and delivery route days to be consulted, offering a simple and intuitive user experience.

The new sales portal responds to Sogenave's needs, digitising its services with efficient integration with internal systems and prioritising the customer experience for convenient and fast orders.
